There WAS a smile on his face, because the thought of the Gryffindors improvising for the Borr dude was amusing. "What song did they sing?" just to weight in how much they HAD to improvise, no?
How come Arya didn't sing? She had the voice for it. But, oh, well. His eyes widened as she said she plays the piano. How come HE didn't know that? That sounded like something a best friend would know, right? "I didn't know you play." There. That's all he said on the matter.
However, his eyes widened even more as she started to describe the man.
Okay, so, yes, the man was not like Gilderoy at all. At least Gilderoy had been good-looking, yes? And now he was laughing, perhaps Arya was exaggerating only a little? The idea of a man that could break a dais was...simply not happening. "Perhaps the dais was magically enhanced or something." Nod, nod. Yes, enhanced to prevent the thing from succumbing to the man's weight.

"What do you mean...got rid of the Education Department? Like...what does that mean." Blink.
Yes. She said crying, and it wasn't Kurumi though she was probably close to it with Tate getting on her for continuously trying to thank the large man.
"It has Borr's face on it." Could he tell that it was hideous?
"And its blue. We can use our shirts to make smores." She nodded her head, obviously liking the idea.
"They sang the school song," she replied.
"And it wasn't too bad." They did alright for a bunch of Griffindors.
"Probably the only song they knew."
Arya nodded her head.
"I learned when I was really young. Used to do a few recitals but now I just play for fun." And the family when they demanded it. And Sabel. For fun of course.
"That's the only way it stayed up. He was HUGE. And he walked with a cane, has to be magically reinforced to." The large man would surely break it if not.
"I should have taken a picture so you could see him." The shirt would have to suffice.
The young Puff wasn't surprised the least bit by Treyen's reaction.
"I mean he got rid of the entire department. He said that they weren't doing their job, and that the governors are going to take back total control." Scary? She wasn't sure, but she sure didn't like.
"I don't know what it means exactly, but it can't be good?"
