In a quieter part of London, stands a sole fire engine red phone booth. On the door of the booth lies a sign that says 'Out of Order'. The Muggles who live in the area cannot remember a time when the phone actually worked, so they just ignore it now. Those who are visiting the Ministry of Magic know what it is there for, though. If you step into the booth and dial 64224 (M-A-G-I-C), you will be allowed to enter the Ministry.

On the sidewalk outside the booth, there are a few benches that have trees on either side of them, creating a shaded area for a bright sunny day. Not far from those benches you can see a park or a convenience store, depending on which way you look. Along the sidewalk, you can tell that someone has taken the time to plant flowers to liven up the normally quiet area.

For the most part, the majority of people on the sidewalk and sitting on the various benches are wizards just waiting for someone before entering the Ministry or waiting to make sure that no one is watching them before they enter the Ministry. Occasionally, though, a Muggle can be seen walking down the street, as well.
