Personality:
Alyss has always been seen as having a rough side to her. That rough side comes out... Always. She can't stand being around people all the time, and only a few of her acquaintances have been able to discover the side of her that's not constantly on it's guard. She's very volatile and will sometimes snap at the least possible thing, if it irritates her. She loves working as it prevents her from being alone with her thoughts and herself, and although she doesn't enjoy company, when at home, she's either walking her dog, or doing extra work that doesn't really need doing.

However, as previously mentioned, there is a side of Miss. Glass that doesn't need constant work and busying. That side of her is still fiery, but in a more gentle and witty way. It's fun and enjoyable, and makes her a pleasure to be around.

History:
Alyss Glass comes from a tight family that are directly descended from a long line of powerful wizards. Wizards that perfected the art of magic without wands, and although Alyss' twin brother uses his gift like it's going out of fashion, she abandoned her ability to heal by touch long ago, simply because she wanted to melt into the background of normal Ministry work and not be set apart as if she was someone special. A perfect Slytherin by nature, it's obvious to see that she probably would of benefited out of being placed in a less harsh and deviant house. The Slytherins of her own year convinced Alyss that there was no reason not to be vile to everyone she met, and in a way, showed her that no-one was more important than herself. However, she was bullied a little, merely because she changed her hair colour to something ridiculous every week, but also because teenagers are cruel, and she was quiet... For the first two years. In her third year, she decided to hit back. She turned into the volatile and terrifying person she displays on her exterior today. There was no-one who was beyond, below or above her tyranny. All of her classmates were now enemies to her, whether they had been before or not.

When she first went into the Ministry of Magic, she was part of the Department of Mysteries. It was somewhere that she thrived and became a softer person. There she also met a man called Edilson Mills, who waited with patience for her and was incredibly gentle to her harsh self. This terrified her. To be actually having feelings for a person who wasn't a part of her family, seemed all wrong at first, but when she realised that she actually loved him and couldn't stand being away from him, she ran. Although that may sound absurd, it was all that she knew. Leaving the country for two years, she fled to Alaska and worked with the magical snow creatures out there. Now she's back in England, no clue if Edilson's still around, but as she's done the typical Glass thing, and blocked him from her mind, she works like she used to, maybe a little softer around the edges.
