The dungbombs were a success, but James wanted more. He walked through the corridors swiftly, bumping into a few third years, muttering an apology only when he felt like it.

His adrenaline rush was dying down and he needed to keep his mind active. A flash of green caught his eyes; he pulled the familiar dark-haired Slytherin aside.

“Reggie,” James drawled, friendly as ever. “Have I told you that I sometimes like you more than Sirius?”

The younger boy squirmed under James’ grip.

“I want to play a game with you.”

Regulus froze; he knew how this would end.
