“BAH! THIS BOOK IS USELESS! HOGWARTS SHOULD LEARN TO BE LESS CONCEITED.”

He slams the book on the table in a melodramatic fashion. Angry whispers surround him and he rolls his eyes.

“A library, Potter, is something that only those with enough intellect and wit should be allowed to use.”

The Slytherin’s lips curl into an unwelcoming smile. “Why don’t you go fly on your little stick and grunt like the other brutes.”

Snape walks away and James sticks his foot out. Triumphant, he laughs when the boy trips, dropping his quills and parchment.

“Oops, so sorry.”
