Harry Potter actors Daniel Radcliffe, Bill Nighy (Rufus Scrimgeour), Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), and John Hurt (Ollivander), donated hand-drawn
art for
The Winnicott Foundation ball, the benefits from which went to helping to improve care for premature and sick babies through supporting the neonatal units at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington, and now at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital, Hammersmith. The charity auction, during which the actors' drawings, as well as many other celebrities' renderings, were sold, brought in over £200,000 in aiding the families and their young babies.
Some of the art can be seen here. For more information on how to donate to

"How to Draw the Perfect Stickman" by Daniel Radcliffe- Fig. 1. Start with the body, like so:
- Fig. 2. At the moment he can't get around, so add some legs.
- Fig. 3. He cannot pick up the T.V. remote yet, so add some arms and hands.
- Fig. 4. Up till now this has not bothered him, but now he wants a head and a face*.
*Mine looks evil, but yours need not! - Fig. 5. The top of his head is cold, so add hair.
- Fig. 6. Time to give him a voice! ('Idiot, you left out feet and shoes!')
- Fig. 7. As soon as he can talk, he starts complaining. Typical! Better do what he says!
- Fig. 8. Admire your beautiful creation! ('Thank you!')
