"It seems most of you can cast the charm now," Jared said. He paused, before going on. "It's easiest to cast the Disilluionment Charm on non-living, inanimate objects. Such as these." His gaze swept the lanterns. "The size of the target is directly proportional to the difficulty - the larger the target, the harder it is to execute the charm perfectly but, more than that, it is the nature of the target that defines the level of difficulty. To put it simply, it's hard to cast it on non-living but animate targets, and even harder to cast it on living targets. It might not be possible for everyone that knows the charm to use it perfectly on, say, a cat; and it can take people up to a year to completely master its use on a human being." Emphasis on completely master.
And?
"That's all for today. And this year." He paused for a moment, realizing that a year had indeed gone, flown past. "If you'd like to continue practising the charm, you may do it here, right now; or in the Practice Hall, later." He was going to be here, for some time. Jared cast on his lantern, and its light streamed out in a line, lighting up the path from the spot outside the Forbidden Forest to the castle, so that the students could see the path and he could make sure they did not stray from it. "To those returning next term, I hope to see you again after the break. To those graduating, good luck. Have a good summer."
All of them.
OOC: Thank you for a fun lesson and another amazing term. You're all awesome. <3
Savannah nodded and tried to remember every tip that the professor mentioned. She slowly gathered her stuff and compacked everything inside.
"Good bye professor." Savannah said as she smiled sweetly.
"Hope you have a great summer! I will be looking forward to charms next year!" She have to admitt that this class has been the best of the charms class so far. And she will be wanting to more interesting spells like the Disillusional Charm.
The third year took her stuff and strode out in the the trees, heading out to the castle.
