Hannah xxx __________________________________________________ _______________ It was three days after Felicity had gotten lost in the Forbidden Forest, and she was sat dozily in her worst lesson - History Of Magic. Professor Binns was droning monotonily in the general direction of the class he was barely aware was infront of him.
Her attention slipped to the goings on behind the tall glass windows; Hagrid was taking a Care Of Magical Creatures lesson, with what appeared to be a Hippogriff as the main subject. She could see the bright ginger hair of Ron Weasley and the untamed frizz which was Hermione Granger's head.
Felicity sat up straighter in her seat to see more of the scene, a black haired, bespectacled boy, who she recognised to be Harry Potter, was bowing nervously infront of the animal. He began to stroke the Hippogriff, before climbing roughly onto it's back.
The animal took three giant strides before leaping into the air and flapping it's feathered wings powerfully.
"Wow." she breathed, and a few of her fellow classmates turned to find what she was looking at, their mouths dropping in awe. Felicity looked back to the ground, a flash of white caught her eye, and she noticed Draco Malfoy stood with his arms crossed at his chest talking to Gregory Goyle, it seemed, trying his upmost to ignore the flying half horse, half bird gliding around a very high tower.
Harry landed the animal to the cheers of the Gryffindors (even a few Slytherins looked mildly impressed) and joined Ron and Hermione. Draco broke away from his conversation and strode towards the front of the group. Standing three metres away from the Hippogriff he walked confidently to it's head. The beast reared and lashed out it's giant talons, Draco fell to the ground, squirming and twisting in the grass. Felicity gasped, and the Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs, who had lost interest when Harry had touched the ground, turned expectantly to look out the window.

Shoving the heavy wooden doors into the Hospital Wing so hard they hit the stone walls on either side of them, Felicity looked around frantically for a white - blonde head.
"Oh Draco! Does it hurt
too bad?!"
Pansy Parkinson had pulled up a chair as close to Draco's bed as she possibly could and was stroking his hair. Her friend's had all sat around him too, and were looking sympathetically at his bandaged arm. Felicity crept slowly up to the crowd, observing the scene, and perched carefully and quietly on the end of the bed opposite.
"Well," he groaned dramatically, a few girls whimpered, "it's still bleeding like mad, but, I'm fighting through the pain." Pansy stared into his face with an overly understanding expression, nodding vigorously. Someone snorted amusedly from another occupied bed.
"Of course you are Draco, we all know how brave you are!" she glanced quickly at her Slytherin friends and they began to nod and agree.
Draco looked up and noticing Felicity listening to the conversation with an amused expression on her face. He looked down at his bandage, embarrassed, and blushed vividly.
"Don't cry Drackie!" Pansy squawked, she followed his previous gaze and also noticed Felicity sat silently across from them.
"What are you doing here, Raven's bum?!" the Slytherin girls cackled, Draco stared at Pansy, his face screwed up angrily.
"Oh nothing, Pansy," Felicity said pleasantly, swinging her leg over he knee, "you look like you're wilting slightly, maybe someone should spread some manure around your roots, stop your sickly little petals from dropping off?" Draco sniggered into his chest, Pansy shot him a deadly look.
"Watch it, Libelle, or you're going to get a nasty surprise!" Pansy rolled up her sleeves and kicked back her chair.
"What's going on here?!" Madam Pomfrey hurried over, "Fists away Pansy! Goodness me, one visitor at a time please, Mr Malfoy doesn't need all the drama." she straightened his bed covers and half - jogged back to her office. Pansy smiled maliciously.
"Well, let's let Draco decide who he wants to stay, shall we?" she sat down by his bedside again, the other Slytherins looked hopeful. Draco picked up his wand from the bedside table and flicked it; Pansy Parkinson's chair legs vanished and she tumbled too the floor, hitting her head hard on a neighbouring bed frame.
"Not you." Draco said shortly, "Not any of you." he turned towards the other girls crowded around his bed. They scurried off to help Pansy from the floor, her pug - like face was stained with tears, she scrambled to her feet and stormed out.
Felicity walked forwards and settled on the edge of his bed. He leaned towards her smiling.
"How did you know I was in here then, Libelle?" he mimicked Pansy's squawky, high - pitched voice. Felicity laughed.
"I was watching through the window when it happened, it looked nasty, is it deep?" she examined his arm.
"No, not bad, but I'm playing it up to Father, it's about time that stupid oaf got what he deserves." he sneered malevolently.
"Draco, not Hagrid, do you have too?" she knew fighting with him was no use, any friend of Harry Potter's seemingly had to be an enemy of his. He decided not to reply. "Pansy Parkinson seems to have a bit of a thing for you." Draco looked up into Felicity's face, she was staring downwards, fiddling with a loose piece of thread on his sheets. "So do most of those girls actually."
"Well, I don't have anything for them, I just need people on my side if I'm going to get Hagrid in trouble, I need witnesses, witnesses against him." Felicity was still playing with the thread,
"well, that's good, because they're horrid." She mumbled.
"This better heal soon, I've got Quidditch matches to train for." he yawned and stretched dramatically, winking at her. Felicity smiled.
"Save it, I'm not going to swoon like Parkinson." she laughed and slipped forwards, her face inches from Draco's, his warm, sweet breath on her face like sunshine, brightening whatever it touched, his grey eyes were closed and his uninjured arm was gripping hers; a wave of glowing anticipation flooded over Felicity and her stomach lurched as though a thousand butterflies had taken flight at once. His breathe became warmer and sweeter; their lips touched.
