"You are mean," Neptune agreed. And not forgiven..... yet. She continued to STARE at the weepy, messy boy known as her boyfriend. "Did I do that?" Make him cry?
This not feeling guilt or world-ending sadness at tears was new and odd and maybe if it really WAS her fault, she could muster up the appropriate feelings. The last time she'd seen a boy cry, Neptune thought she was going to shrivel and die from the inside out... |
