Elle took out her quill and notebook from her bag. "Okay, let's get to work, Elizabeth Woods!"

She then got her cleaned telescope and looked through it into the beautiful night sky.

Her note book said:

1. Leo
2. Scorpius
3. Hercules
4. Cancer
5. Ursa Major
6. Orion
7. Big Dipper
8. Pisces

For the entire half hour she had been looking at the sky, there was no luck. She could not find any constellation, no matter how detailed Professor had described them. She put down her telescope on her lap and let it rest there while she rummaged into her bag for some hot chocolate drink. She twisted the cap of the thermos and poured some on the cup and drank.

That was refreshing! Elle resumed her assignment.

Finally, after what seemed like an hour, Elle constructed a constellation. Hercules. She quickly jotted down her observations on a draft while she was staring at the stars. No matter if the paper was messy. She could fix that later.

Hercules. At first, it was difficult to spot this constellation, because the stars were so far away from each other and I was not concentrating. Then I rememebered from class that Hercules only appeared in a clear night. So I tried connecting the dots, taking me a few long minutes to figure out which constellation it really was. Actually, I did not use my telescope much, since Hercules is easy to spot, even without help from technology. The naked eye can see so many things!

Elle wrote what she thought would help her expound later on. She then returned to searching other stars, but decided to go back to the Dorms.
