Hogwarts RPG Name: Felicity Libelle Third Year | I Thought I Saw a Unicorn - Sa13+ Hello! I'm Hannah and new on the site! This idea came to me when I was horse riding with my friend recently. It was going dark and we were near a shadowy forest, we heard an owl hooting, and it sounded as though it was getting closer, we spun around and tore off galloping as fast as our ponies would take us in fear - it sounded as though the owl was about to jump out the nearest tree!
The characters were chosen as, Felicity is my Hogwarts RPG Character and I just adore Draco Malfoy. Draco, Hogwarts, and all other characters, locations and ideas - except Felicity Libelle and the basic plot - are J.K Rowling's! I do not take any credit for them.
Thanks and enjoy! Hope it's alright (this is my first FF post - ever) and excuse any spelling and/or grammar mistakes Hannah xxx __________________________________________________ _______________ Chapter 1 Gnarled branches grabbed and pulled at Felicity's heavy black cloak, she was stumbling desperately between the trees, her breathe was escaping irregularly and sounding raspy and forced. She started to sob and thick tears rolled down her scarred cheeks. The dense, cold hood of night fell over her eyes, blinding Felicity and her thin frame was weighed down by the unsympathetic atmosphere, she ran towards the only light her startling blue eyes could focus - the familiar, warm lights of the castle.
Tears were tumbling thickly down her face now, Felicity tripped and fell over a twisted branch, cutting her pale arms. Sitting there sobbing, she looked around frantically for any sign of friendly life, but the Forbidden Forest had furthermore consumed her into it's dangerous bowels. An owl hooted loudly and threateningly, and Felicity stood up with a start, staring around, a blinding white light glowed invitingly ten feet away from her place of stand, the light flickering as the form travelled between the towering trees.
Edging slowly across the forest floor, twigs and ivory - coloured sticks (Felicity tried with all her might to imagine were not bones) crackling and snapping beneath her feet, she noticed that the luminous shape was infact a vaguely detailed snake. It appeared to be slithering effortlessly over the leaves and branches without leaving a trace of it's path. Felicity had seen animals like this before, in Defence Against The Dark Arts, Professor Lupin had cast a very similar looking form, only not the same animal, she was sure this snake was a Patronus.
It turned it's scaley head towards her and gestured for her to follow. Crouching and struggling through the forest, the snake meandered through the trees, Felicity noticed that the branches hanging towards her almost inquisitively were thinning and growing further apart until she felt a strong breeze and stumbled out into open grass.
There stood, his well - crafted features contorted apprehensively, was Draco Malfoy.
"What did you think you were doing?!" he yelled, his voice was strangely high - pitched, "I was so w-" he cleared his throat, "Well?!", he lowered his tie awkwardly, his grey eyes narrowed questioningly.
"I, err, I thought I saw a unicorn..." Felicity cringed at how childish this sounded.
Draco still looked angry and anxious, but she was sure she glimpsed his eyes glint as thought amused.
"You thought, you saw, a unicorn?" he drawled, "Come on, it's freezing out here, Madam Pomfrey will sort out those cuts." he walked forwards and ran his fingers around her scarlet stained scratches, she winced and he drew back his hand.
Draco looked her up and down examining her other casualties and the rips in her robes, before taking off his own cloak and wrapping it around her shoulders, his warm, peppermint - scented breath tingled the skin it brushed and she felt herself go red as his white - blonde hair tickled her ear.
He drew back, seeming to realise just how close he had gotten too, by the rosy stains on his normally pale face.
"Are you coming?" he asked staring up at the moon, which illuminated his attractive features flatteringly, Felicity's stomach lurched appreciatively.
"Yes," she managed quickly, and tripped forwards to join his side. He sniggered at her clumsiness, and they emersed into chat walking increasingly closely up to the magnificent castle where no doubt, Filch was waiting to question them on why they were wandering the Hogwarts grounds in the late hours of the night. __________________________________________________ _______________ Thanks for reading!
