It took a few tugs before he was able to come out of his thoughts enough to turn his attentions away from the inner workings of his mind. Then and only then did he notice two specific things. Lafay had warned him to use his head before acting by his heart, but his head was completely turned off at the moment. So there wasn't any thought, only pure emotion as he gave Arya's hand a small squeeze and kissed the back of it. "Give me...two seconds." His voice came quiet, barely present. An indication he would be right back, that he would sit as soon as he was done what he needed to do.
Letting her hand slip out of his, he moved the few seats over to Lexi, cautiously putting a hand on her shoulder and giving it a slight squeeze. "Lexi...."
She gave him a small smile, though it was obvious she was worried about him, and nodded her head as she watched him check on Lexi. Her eyes caught sight of a younger griffie girl and some man she was with. Really, what had them all so upset? She frowned lightly, replaying everything she'd heard that Borr dude say, trying to remember what she heard that would cause them all to be so frown-y face, when she saw Lexi hit Sabel.
That only caused her frown to deepen, and her eyes to narrow at the violent girl. REALLY?? He was
only trying to be a friend and she jabs him in the gut. And even after that he was giving her hugs. Arya glared in their direction, hand reaching into her bag and pulling out the Bott beans. Then she turned her back towards everyone at the table and irefully started eating the beans. Real food would be good right about now. Hmm.
