Did he seriously think she wouldn't be here for him? "You didn't think I'd come to see you? Why would you think that?" Did he think she was that terrible that she wouldn't care how he was doing? If that was the case then he was really going to think she was rotten when she told him who else had been there.
"So um, there were others here to see you too." Like one in particular who had even arrived before Marie did. "Sal and... Lexi were here. Lexi said she would be back later. Not sure about Sal, I think he left with Lexi." She really wasn't keeping track. She had been too busy telling Neptune off at the time to worry about others around her. "Oh and Jake stopped by too. Pretty sure he was just here to check on...Neptune though." Neptune who had pulled her wand out like she was gonna use it on Marie when Marie didn't even have hers out. Pfft, like Marie needed a wand against that brat. Her words were enough to make her leave.
Huh. Well. Fancy that. Jimmy sorta sat back against his cushions and thought about it a bit. "Well you can tell them I'm fine... you know, in a bit." After he got all the attention that he could get and all right? Yep. They could wait.
Moral support for... why would Marie need moral support?
"Nice of him." Jim brushed it off. Like it mattered. If Marie felt she needed moral support to visit him when he was injured that was her business. Weird, but definitely her business.
"Its not just you, its anyone. I'm just not used to it, thats all." He shrugged, giving her a bleary eyed, but serious look. "I take care of myself, always have."
He grinned at news of Sal and Lexi and managed a half a nod at mention of Jake. The guy was good, and Jim respected that, the half part was because Jim froze, expression cautious at mention of Neptune.
"What happened to Neptune?" Like, hospital wing, surely she was injured and thats why she was there, nothing to do with him.
