Marie was beginning to wonder how long it would be before they heard anything about Evelyn or better yet when her friend would be walking out that door when her concentration was broken... by Josh. Wow, he wasn't looking so hot right now.
"Hey Josh. We're just waiting on Ev." If Marie knew her friend at all she would be walking out that door any minute wanting to get the heck out of that place.
"Um, you need a comb?" Cuz she was sure he wouldn't want Ev seeing him looking a mess right now. Not when she knew he was trying to get the girl back.
