Ava Jade wandered back into the common room after spending some exhausting (but much-needed) time in the library. She let her books slide to the floor with a *thunk* and slid into an empty chair. Normally she would have looked around for a friend or two, but right now she didn't feel like looking. She sat, closing her eyes for a moment, and rubbed her temples with her thumbs.
