There's always Internet speculation and gossip about make up companies testing on animals. Even though L'oreal, Lancomes parent company, said it stopped in 1994, there's of course still rumours that L'oreal continues it but this has never been proved, and it's never been proved that Lancome ever even did it, it's associated through L'oreal. Lancome is a European company though, and all European companies have to be animal testing free by 2013. Most are already, L'oreal and Lancome say they use only man made tissues, but all the companies that still do have began phasing it out. People will of course though bash Emma about it, even with no proof.
I'm super excited about this project for her! I hope some people believing speculation wont effect it for her. It's another big step for her, being the face of a global brand previously fronted by Julia Roberts and Kate Winslet. It's a big contract for Emma!
