Alex jumped slightly, not expecting to hear his name called like that. He turned around and saw Sierra motioning him towards a trophy, and he wandered over to look at what she was pointing to. As he looked up at him, a thought occurred to him. "Hey, do you think we'll ever end up in here?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. Sierra might if she became super famous on the Slytherin team or something, but Alex knew he wasn't getting on a trophy that way. No sir.
Sierra's eyes continued to scan the trophies and plaques inscribed with their family name. She bet her father's plaque for Slytherin Quidditch Captain was in here, too.
Let's see, he would have been a student during which years? As she mentally did the math, Sierra turned back to her brother with a slight shrug.
"Hmm. I guess only time will tell," she answered. Although, inside, she was mentally giving her brother a little eye roll. She still hadn't really accepted the fact that he'd ended up in Hufflepuff of all places. Having him be their prefect or leader in some way would just be the icing on the cake. He'd probably never be their Quidditch captain. As far as she knew, she was still afraid to even
sit on a broom handle!
The professor was dismissing class now, though, and so Sierra took one final look around the room before starting to say her goodbyes. She'd come back later and look for her father's plaque.
"So I guess I'm heading back to the common room now," she told her brother.
"I have Quidditch practice later on." Her eyes flickered up to her brother, and she felt sort of guilty for how distant they'd become with one another.
"I'll see you around, though." With a little nod, she turned and headed out the room.
