That was quick. Jim eyed the conjured chair and then managed a half hearted grin. What, did Healer Moretti think if she weren't there to chaperone he'd get right back into the snogging?

The1HBIC Marie's heart was racing as she followed the healer back to see Jimmy. She knew she wasn't going to get much time to be with him, she was just happy she was getting any time at all. She needed to see for herself that he was going to be alright.
As she walked into the room she felt a wave of relief come over her when she seen that Jimmy was sitting up. He in no way looked his best but she was happy to see him awake and sitting there.
It took all her willpower not to run over and give him a huge hug and kiss. As much as she wanted to she still wasn't sure how badly he was hurt. She didn't want to cause him any more pain than he was most likely already in.
Looking to the healer when she said Marie couldn't stay long she frowned a bit. "Right, short visit." Of course she was gonna stay until she was told to leave. She was in no hurry to let anyone else come back... unless it was Finlay. She knew he was pretty worried about Jimmy too and would probably want to see him... if the healer let him come back.
Forgetting about everyone else for now she turned all her attention back to Jimmy as she sat in the chair next to him. Taking his hand in hers she gently stroked the back of it with her thumb. "I've been so worried about you. You have no idea how happy I am to see you awake." Or how happy she was that she made that Bott Brat leave. "How you feeling?"
"Marie." Jim's voice was tired but glad. "You don't need to worry about me, I'm tough and all that." He gave her hand a squeeze. "Take more than a crash to bring me to my knees."
As for how he felt?
"Better, I guess." Was the healer looking? Jim wondered if he could lean forward enough for sympathy kisses.
