So she closed her book, and smiled warmly. She closed her book, folded the corner of the page to mark it, and gestured to the space right next to her. "Hey Levi, I'm fine. Just doing a bit of reading." Then she noticed the pile of books that he was carrying "Getting some homework done?"
At first, Levi had been put off by her glare but he soon felt a wave of relief when she returned his smile. He hoped she didn't mind his clumsy tendencies too much. They really could be a hindrance to the Gryffindor sometimes. He figured he should have been paying attention more to where he was walking. However, his mind was often prone to wander. Sometimes he just couldn't help it. Levi was very imaginative and thus, easily distracted as well.
"I was about to," the dark-skinned boy replied with a small nod. He wasn't all that keen on the idea. There were plenty of better things to do, the majority of them involving Cass and hanging with her. Now there was an idea. Homework...yeah, right. "Maybe I'll do it later." With that, he took a seat next to the blonde and placed the books on the table in front of him. "I can't remember the last time I actually finished a book, to be honest. Are you reading anything good?" |
