"Oh, no, it's fine. I'm sure it was for the best." Carter said slowly. It was true, his friend was Brazilian and probably wouldn't adapt to England very well. Plus, his whole family had past away. At least now Carter knew he was once again with his family.

Carter looked down at his watch. "I think we can call it a day." he said. "I've got some homework to get done before practice too." he said. It was a lame, but true excuse. It was too bad they weren't in the same house, then he wouldn't have to worry about making time to see her.

"Shall I walk you back to your common room?" he asked.
