Hugo and Kurumi were studying in the library. It was snowing outside and Hugo didn’t feel like doing anything else but reading.

“That’s so sick...” Kurumi said looking at a drawing in her textbook. It pictured a scared young woman in a pile of burning wood.

“What?” Hugo asked, looking up from the chapter about when the Trace was established.

“It says here muggles used to hunt down witches and wizards and burn them alive... Why would they do that?” Kurumi asked, clearly not understanding why those muggles would do such a thing.

“Out of fear...” Hugo answered, still reading.
