She pulled out a ruler from her bag and pushed a Terry Pratchett book in their direction hoping it wouldn't hit them seeing as she couldn't reach it. She went around the other side, "Sorry about that, I couldn't help but over hear your conversation..." she picked up the book, "Have you heard of Terry Pratchett and Disc World? He's one of my faves" She was hoping she wasn't intruding on anything important, "I'm Wisteria Hartly," she held out her hand smiling.
Cody saw a young girl walking towards him and Emmy. She seemed interested in the conversation.
"Yes, I think I have heard of that before", he said with a smile on his face.
"I'm Cody Evans", he repiled shaking her hand. He had met a lot of people lately. "
What house are you in Wisteria?", he asked.

Going back to good old A C Clarke...
"Yes, you probably know the music from the film of '2001'... Did you know, that in World War Two, Arthur C Clarke actually helped develop RADAR technology? He had such an amazing mind..."
Then, quite unexpectedly, just as she was pondering what to say next, a tome by another of her favourite authors clonked her on the head. Thus providing her with another line of conversation...
"Yep, I have. I haven't read them though but I have certainly heard about them", he repiled to Emmy.
Emmy seemed to like talking about A C Clarke. Cody didn't know that much about him but a bit more on H G Wells.
"I didn't know that", he said blankly. Emmy did know her stuff well.
