Aliceara couldn't exactly tell why there was suddenly a party occurring in the middle of Diagon Alley, or what exactly was causing the interruption to what was becoming her usual pattern of working idly in her shop while waiting for the next customer. It had seemed to be another lull, which she'd both looked at as an excuse to catch up on things and as something that was boring her to no end. She'd actually taken a quick photo shoot on in the meantime, when she hadn't created several new racks of robes as a way to pass time. Things were going on, but it seemed her shop wouldn't be too well-populated while this event was going on, so she'd merely locked her main shop door and headed out.

Parties were her thing, or they had been in her previous occupation, and even though she'd been a bit on edge with the rumors of what had been going on around her, she wasn't about to not go. Just as she wasn't about to not attend while exquisitely dressed. Her hair wasn't anything special, as it was her usual tousled, wavy fall of brown silk, but it set off the rest of the outfit nicely. Until she got to the check-in, and raised a delicate eyebrow at mention of t-shirts. That wouldn't go with her dress at all, but she'd take one anyway. Maybe it was like a memento or something. All the best parties had those, even if she hadn't been to one in ages. Smiling at the first security person she came to, she spoke. "Aliceara Ravenswood. Shopkeeper at Madame Malkin's," she informed them in her friendliest voice. Just because she wasn't sure of things didn't mean she needed to transmit that to the people who were so graciously working.
