There was something oddly fascinating about muggles, Sirius and James kept on repeating as they poked around the muggle joke shop. Remus would be inclined to agree, except that by fascinating they meant that muggle girls were easily impressed by them. Apparently some of their tricks were just like ‘magic.’

Remus would bet they were.

Lupin noticed that they were both chatting up the pretty brunette behind the counter without much success. Her lack of interest on his friends made complete sense to him; after all, it was Remus the one she kept looking at.

He bit back a smile.
