"Well you asked where you can find it," Jake pointed out calmly, quite annoyed that she was doing that eye-rolling thing. He didn't understand it, which made him more irked. And jeez, had he NOT said it was a plant, he probably would have been somehow in the wrong as well.

Guh.

The young man raised his hand again. "When I was real little I drank something that had been left within my reach and I got kinda sick from it. I was three and it was one huge disaster," Jake explained, but then went on. "How did it make you sick? Like... what are the symptoms... how do you know you've had it if you're working it out?"
