She sat quietly as she listened to Sabel's description of muggle medicine. "Episkey--lasting anywhere from a few weeks to a few months?!" she exclaimed. Merlin, that sounded painful! She'd always been glad to be a witch raised in a magical family, but now she was more than glad. She was relieved. "Treyen Lockhart and I are working on a potion," she said, her eyes flickering up to meet his. "We've been working on it since the last Potions for Muggles Club. It's...a cure for Alzheimer's." Her voice trailed off on the last few words. She was still a little unsure that she and Treyen were even on the right track with what they were discussing. A slight nod left him at her exclamation. "Yup. Depending the break. It's not very pleasant to say the least." Especially when there was more than one broken bone involved.
And then he was blinking at her in surprise. "Alzheimer's?" They were working on something to cure it? He could have sworn the muggle part of his brain exploded right then and there.
Bitting his bottom lip, he turned his eyes away down the hall. It was always a good shock to the system hearing that something impossible in the muggle world was as simple as a potion in the wizarding. Sometimes painfully shocking. "That's...wow."
With a small smile and an awkward shift on the window sill, he glanced back at Sierra. "And you say you know little about muggles." Even if she did, the fact that she was going so far to help them was amazing.
