The grin he had been sporting wavered as soon as she tugged on his sleeve. Not exactly the best lead in to a morning's conversation. "Just an accident." Reaching over he covered her hand with his free one, giving her a small smile and gently keeping her from pulling up his sleeve any further. "I'm fine." He really didn't want her to be worrying about him.
She was pretty sure it was cats since she didn't have an alarm clock in her dorm room, Perseus served as one so much that she didn't need to bother with getting one that would work on school grounds.
It didn't look like just an accident to her, it looked like something more.
"What kind of accident has you bandaged up like this?" She gave up trying to see the rest of his arm when he placed his hand over hers, eye filled with concern with they settled on his green ones.
"Are you really fine, or just saying that for my benefit?" Because if it was the latter, it was too late for that, she was already worried.
