It was getting... busier here. And Neptune was the social one of the pair, so he let her take the social lead... it worked that way. Quote:

He sighed deeply but quietly. He will have to deal with each of them. Soon. But not tonight. Right now was their moment with Lexi and with others looks to have been as fortunate as he.
He hooked Lexi's arm into his own as he clapped for the Groundskeeper, with his poufy POUFY sleeves, then for Jake and Neptune-- King and Queen of the Tea Party. He nodded his head at the Hufflepuff and had that lopsided grin. Very not bad Jakey boy. Maybe he's fixed whatever was wrong with Neptune's Runes desk? Quote:

Looking down at his and Neptune's hands, Jake entwined his fingers with hers and smiled softly at her while she focused on everyone else. He was... so lucky.
GIGGLE. Neptune wiggled her ROYAL fingers at Mr. Salander, and of course, Lexi. She held Jake's hand over her head and did a spin for them, figuring it was indeed a treat.
At least SHE was enjoying it, and the attention, and generally everyone ELSE being so happy.
...cept that one Gryffindor girl, but Neptune Bott SO wasn't going to be spoiled by the tears of others. QUEEN's had to think of others. Like, for example, where was the smirk from Jim? That was missing. There was more than one blond looking for the face of Wilkes.
"Let's get someone to take our picture. We'll give to Mr. Tate to put in his office," Neptune instructed King Jake. Because Mr. Tate would SO enjoy something like that, right? Giggle. |
