Hermione is left behind the oak tree and she starts to think to herself, "I love Draco Malfoy dearly, but I also love Ron Weasley at the same time. My heart belongs to Ron, but at the same time I want Draco."


Hermione hears Molly come into the garden and she hears Molly say, "Hermione. Come inside. You should not be out this late at night since there where attacks lately." Molly doesn't say who was being to attacked to Hermione.

Hermione heads toward the back door and enters into the burrow following Molly. Hermione goes quietly into the kitchen and she sits down at the table waiting for Ron to come home.

Around midnight as she was still waiting for Ron still sitting at the kitchen table. Ron Weasley finally comes home with a huge tattered and battered old brown briefcase held together with twine since it was full. The briefcase was filled with reports and cases from the Auror office. Ron sees Hermione a few seconds after he had apparated into the burrow and he gives her a quick peck on the lips. Nothing real passionate unlike the kiss Hermione had with Draco few hours ago.

Ron leaves the kitchen as he lugs the briefcase upstairs up to his bedroom. Hermione gets up from the table and follows Ron into the bedroom. As soon as they entered the bedroom together; Ron puts down the briefcase onto the floor beside the bed. Hermione changes into her pajamas and lays down on the bed under the covers. Ron changed into his pajamas as well and lays down beside her. Hermione says, "Good night." and she rolls over in the other direction away from Ron. She falls asleep and she begins to dream.
