Generally, spotting was supposed to be done in any spinning situation, but given he really didn't trust himself to be whipping his head this way and that, he chose the spot right in front of him; Arya. The one constant.
She really should be used to his watching her by now, but for some reason, she found herself squirming a bit under his gaze, a faint blush rising to her cheeks. Or was that just from the spinning? She really didn't care to find out which it was.
Instead of watching him back, she let her eyes settle on a spot behind him, subconsciously speeding them up in the process. He was distracting, that was for certain.
