 ‘Okay Class’ Professor Flitwick called to the chattering class. ‘Take out your wands, point it at the object in front of you and say accio.’
The class did so without hesitation. Luna picked up her wand, and without looking at the object properly said accio. It flew towards her waiting hand with great speed and knocked her hand back into her chest.
Luna looked down at the surprisingly heavy item, it was a large book. The title, flying with fools. Luna chuckled lightly and a few people turned towards her. She sent the book back with a flick of her wand and some mumbled words and tried again.
‘Accio,’ she breathed quietly. The book once again flew towards her, but this time she did not catch it and it hit the side of her head with significant force, that it made her shout out in pain.
All around her people started giggling and mumbling, but Luna ignored them and carried on making the book fly to her.
After a few tries, she could do it quite perfectly, along with Hermione Granger, Harry Potter and Padma Patil. Neville grinned at her from behind his book and Luna quickly returned his smile. |
