Simon Bennett? That name sounded familiar. Maybe he was in their house. Huh. "I bet he values you as a good friend." He wouldn't tell anyone Selina's secret. He probably wouldn't remember this boy's name by tomorrow anyway.
Selina stopped and awaited Chris to point out the issue of Simon, but it never came. Was he being nice and not mentioning her blunder. She doubted it, maybe he didn't notice. That was it, then again part of her wished he had heard. It would have been nice to talk about it.
"Um, right, well... I've got nothing... What's up with you and your Dad? Is he doing better?". He probably didn't know that she knew by the look on his face, "Elyie told me."
