Kurumi knew she should have seen this part coming. At least she had come up with some questions that did not seem too difficult to answer. Holding the book under her right arm and swinging her bag over her left shoulder, Kurumi walked up to Professor Truebridge. "Professor, is it alright if I accept your offer and borrow this book for the assignment?" she asked shyly holding the book out for him to look at. It was rather old so she could understand him wanting to keep it in the Ancient Runes classroom

"Of course, Kurumi." Truebridge paused and gave her serious looks, "But any harm that befalls that book will be paid back three-fold." Spine for spine, hide for hide. Truebridge was serious about his tomes.
