24. House Elf


Ginny felt horrible when she saw Harry out there digging. Digging like there was no tomorrow, but she felt it was the right thing to do. To say she was conflicted was another story.

“Dobby, I will miss you,” she whispered into the wind, hair whipping around her head.

“I miss him too,” Hermione told her, walking outside holding a cup of hot chocolate for Harry so he wouldn’t freeze.

“He was the best house elf ever,” Ron admitted – as he walked into the room. Crying.

“We all miss him,” hugging Ron– he’d never expressed compassion for house elves before.
