41. Thestrals

Ginny had never been able to see them before, Thestrals that is. Yet now, they were everywhere on the grounds, in the forest, on the roof of the school – sitting on the pitch during games. She shuddered slightly – they ate meat humans were meat.

But she knew they weren’t mean creatures – they could only be seen after you’d seen death. And now, the entire school save the first years saw them. Well, everyone from Hogwarts that is.

They were made to finish their year at Beauxbaton while the school got fixed. Ginny laughed, Hogwart’s flying horses had come with them.
