She prepared herself for the ball coming her way. The ball went rolling right by her foot. She blushed, and turned around running after the ball. Okay, she took another big breath and kicked it, a little harder than last time. The ball flew though the air about two feet over to the right of where Carter was standing. "See, I told I'm not so good kicking long distance or stopping the ball" She giggled.

"You're doing great." Carter said encouragingly. In his book any girl that knew anything about football was enough to impress him. And the fact that Caroline wanted to learn made him like her even more.

Maybe he'd have to address that little 'boyfriend' slip up...

But before he had time to ponder that thought further he noticed the ball was coming back at him.

... And it was a few feet off ...

Running to catch up with the ball he stopped it against his chest before letting it plop to the ground.

"Okay. Let's just try it a bit slower." he said. "When the ball comes toward you hold your foot like this." he said holding his foot sideways. "The ball will just kinda stop in the arch of your foot." he explained.

He then kicked the ball back to her a bit slower.
