What was with the nut?
"That's a hazelnut." Obviously.
What they were supposed to do with it, Emily had no idea.
"You don't have to eat it do you?" she blurted out. She hated nuts!
"Um... do you... have to roast them or put them on the fire, and see what the nut does? Like, if it pops open or something like that?"
Total guess. But that would be kind of fun! As long as the nut didn't get anywhere near her. She'd be fine.
