Intro: The story takes place between the final showdown and before the epilogue. Hermione must make a choice between Ron and Draco. She must make the most important choice of her life that will effect the relationship between herself, Ron, and Draco. It takes place before Hermione is supposed to marry Ron Weasley. During the middle summer of 2003. Betrayal, love and hate.
Chapter 1: The Secret Vistor The night before Hermione and Ron were to be wed, Hermione was working on putting the final touches of the wedding at the Burrow out in the garden. She was doing this all by herself.
While Hermione was doing this at the Burrow, Ron was still working really late at the Minstry of Magic as an Auror. He was working on a case that involved muggles being either tortured or were tortured for fun by unknown dark witches or wizards.

Hermione starts to think of her wedding until she hears a real loud crack from somebody either apparating or disapparating, but she doesn't know who it was. She thinks it could be Ron coming home from a long hard day of catching dark wizards and witches.
She suddenly stops what she was doing and looks at the other side of the garden to see who just had apparated into the garden. The person was hiding behind a very large oak tree. Then she starts slowly walking over to the oak tree. As she finally made it over to the oak tree on the other side of the garden someone pulls towards them by the arm. She tries to pull free from the person who was pulling toward them behind the oak tree.
Hermione is shocked to see who pulled the oak tree. It was Draco Malfoy. He looked even more pale than usual. Draco whispers to Hermione as he let her arm go, "I know I am not welcome here, but I am here anyway. I love you, Hermione." After he whispers this to Hermione, he tries to kiss her on the lips, but she pulls from him as he was kissing her. She slaps Draco across the face leaving a red mark on his face. Hermione replies as she finished slapping Draco, "Why did you come here? You know I am supposed to get married to Ron tomorrow afternoon."
Draco stays silent after Hermione had slapped him acrossed the face from him kissing her. He looks at Hermione with his cold-grey eyes trying to avoid answering Hermione's questions. Hermione says, "Ron will end up finding out you about being here. When he does find out you are here, Draco with me since it will end up in trouble for you. So Draco, you better leave if you know whats good for you."
Draco decides to leave, but before he does he kisses her again, but this time Hermione doesn't stop him from kissing her. It felt like an eternity as Draco kissed her on the lips again. Afterwards Draco leaves before he is caught with her.
