Were these creatures...real? As in, they were once alive and now...they were here? If so, it was really kind of creepy. Vashti would've preferred staying in the dinosaur exhibit.

Now they were talking about polar bears? These were easy. "They live up north, I think. Like, waaaay up north." Like in the Arctic. Or were they the ones that were in Antarctica, which would mean they were waaaay down south? She could never keep that straight.

Noticing the look on her friend's face and her ~~impossible~~ lack of class participation, Vashti stepped up beside Trixie and gently nudged her with her arm. "Hey. You okay?" she asked quietly. Was it the animals that were bothering her? They were rather creepy, after all.
