As she moved her way through all of the people in the stands she saw teachers and students alike screaming and talking. It was quite the buzz going on. One of the only students not talking it seemed was Simon, her Captain.
She sat beside him and blew a stray strand of her red hair out of her face, "Hey Captain. You, uh, ready for the game. This game I mean. I mean obviously our game too and all of that, but I was specifically talking about... this one. Right now." Why did Selina always have her foot in her mouth when it came to her Quidditch Captain. Probably had something to do with how hard she wanted to impress him. One day she wanted to follow in his footsteps.
"Sorry, I was rambling. I'll try not to do that." Simon looked up as someone sat down beside him, smiling politely when he saw that it was Selena. He listened to her speak, trying not to chuckle as she started rambling not wanting to make her more anxious that she apparently seemed to be. "Yes I am ready...for ours as well," he remarked when she finally caught herself and stopped.
"And no need to be sorry," he added waving off her appology finding the first year's behavior amusing not annoying like newbies could be. Newbies...look at me I'm finally acting like an upperclassman. "Besides....rambling is a sign of energy and energy is good," he comment, shaking his head to himself as he realized how ackwards that sounded to even himself.
