Kurumi's hand shot up. "Professor, I believe that that is a Diplodocus carnegii, but it is more comonly known as Diplodocus. Their name comes from its unique bones in its tail meaning 'double beam.'" Maya's eyes remained narrowed at the two girls for a moment longer, as they explained themselves. She could imagine it, everyone dissapearing in this gigantic museum and Maya would have to explain to the Headmaster why the hell they had not returned to school with her. Ugh... "Allright." Yes, let's not see that happening again. "I know it's exciting and all." She hoped. "Yes, indeed it is a type of Diplodocus." she nodded at the girl. Quote:

She was disoriented from our... travel and just jumped on my band wagon. I hope that you won't send us back. We promise to behave, honest." Selina was not one for trouble. She was the good student who partook in homework and every class.
When the Professor moved on with the question Selina had no idea. Growing up in the magical world left her lacking. A what? "Miss Skylar, if I do not actually say that you can go off on your own, then you cannot assume you are allowed to." Right? "I will not send you back to school." Yet. Hehe. Quote:

Emily raised her hand... "Is is an Apatosaurus, also known as the Brontosaurus?" she asked.... That was the scientific name was it not? Lookit, there was one who knew names. "It does look like one...but it is infact a type of Diplodocus dinosaur. But good guess." Quote:

"Uh... it's a bunch of bones?" Lexi asked!said with her hand slightly raised. Wait... what was Sal on about? Leaning over she whispered in his ear, "What's a dino? What... I am SO confused." She grabbed for his tie free hand a bit frantically. What if she said or did something... witchish? EEP! Muggle places frightened Lexi. A bunch of bones. The Mexicana turned to look at the skeleton, and then back at the girl. "Yes...There are bones there." So...some of them didn't know what this was. Right. Note to self. Quote:

"Correct, dinosaur bones." She nodded with a small smile. Quote:

Obviously. A BIG creature that is. Or was it fake?
...
Could they touch it?! Oh...dear. "How do you know it's dead?" Hmmm? A Thestral could look dead to anyone who didn't know what they were.
Hehe. Quote:

Yes, she was stating the obvious. The world was still a bit spinny and she was too distracted by the fact that they were AT A MUSEUM to give much more than that. "A grass eating one I think." Ah, there, more information.
She'd only barely glanced at the map in her hand before going back to the museum. Ah! "A grass eating dinosaur, good answer." Totally. Quote:

"I mean...Only the bones are there, none of the skin or anything." Again. "How do you know it's dead?"
Dun duun Duuuuuuuuuuuun! Quote:

What was what? Oh, "You mean, the dragon-wannabe? Nope." And he may have been wanting to annoy Saylen, maybe. Or maybe he truly didn't know what the dinosaur was. There had been so many of them, that who on Earth could know the scientific name of the thing?
...
'A grass eating one'. Haha. Good one. "Herbivore, Arya." Tsk. She knew that. Dragon wannabe? Oh...
OOOH.
He didn't.
But he did! "A dragon-wannabe, huh? Maybe this is the super-great grandfather of a dragon." Yeah, think about that. "Good wording, Mister Lockhart." Quote:

Hm, made sense? Quote:

She could even see a couple of staff members that she used to be friendly with floating around nearby.
She wondered idly if they remembered her... Probably not, she decided. "Yes, indeed it is, Miss Frost." the Mexicana nodded. Quote:

Chad made sure to move quietly around the students and over to where Maya was standing, not wanting to disturb the students as they answered questions. Such smarties.
Once beside her, he held out her coffee for her to take. It was his way to say 'thank you' for her agreeing to put up with him for the day. Heh. Heavens knew how much of an accomplishment that would be...
Dinosaur. :3 Okay, so far everything was going allright, but she could feel the immense rise in excitement in this great room and Maya's curiosity was itching to run around and absorb the information... EVERYWHERE.
So, hopefully she wouldn't tell them to stay here while she went on a happy trip around the museum.
!
Oh dear Merlin. He was here, and he brought... coffe. She saw Chad come closer and tried her best not to snatch that delicious drink out of his hand. Ahem. She was really going to be needing this. "Gracias, Mister Stryker." She gave him a smile and gratefully accepted the coffee. "Everyone, you all know Mister Stryker, the Groundskeeper." She adressed the class again, though the man didn't need an introduction. "He will be joining us today." So you can't escape. "I'm glad you could be here. This might get a little too exciting." If he knew what she meant. Another smile his way.
Everyone ready to move on? "Allright, let's head on over to the Dinosaur Gallery, shall we?" And then she very much turned serious, "Follow me." Practically glared at them all as if she could read their little 'Run-off-and-play' plans in their minds. She started making her way to the Dinosaur Gallery on their left, keeping close to the Groundskeeper.
