16. Impedimenta
Fred and George were really going all out for this one. They had rigged water balloons to launch themselves whenever Umbridge or Snape walked by. They were just finishing rigging at as George heard her talking to someone right down the hall.
“Hurry up Fred! Don’t want to get caught do we?”
They both grinned knowing that getting caught was inevitable. They got blamed for everything that went wrong in the school, even if someone else did it. Finally, the rig was set and the twins headed down the corridor so that they were out of eyesight but within earshot.
All of a sudden there was a loud splashing noise as the balloons launched. They heard her shriek and couldn’t help but laugh. “Who. Did. This! Speak up now or everyone in this corridor is in trouble!!”
The twins held back their laughter. “What’s wrong Delores?” They heard Snape ask her. Snap. Another round of balloons was shot off. "Impedimenta!" Fred and George couldn’t hold their laughter any longer. Soon there was a very angry (and wet) Umbridge standing in front of them. “My office now.” Umbridge was not joking. The twins saluted her before going to the office.
