*shrugs* Don't feel like quoting, but yeah. xD Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict Renée grinned a little as Kurumi made the observation about her cat being attracted to her furniture. "Well, I can't say I've ever had the privilege of knowing how comfortable or not the chairs in your common room are, so I'll have to take your word for it. And thank you for the compliment," she replied, glancing at Walnut again as she finished speaking, as if the compliment had come from him. "Sometimes animals have an easier time adapting. As long as they get fed, cared for, they're fine wherever they are. They don't have to deal with human problems very often, but sometimes they do react to them," she went on to observe. It seemed Kurumi was talking about something personal now, but she wasn't going to force her to say anything. It would be easier and less stressful on the girl if she was allowed to get to her point on her own terms.
"They are, historically," she agreed, as the topic went back to Anastasia and phoenixes in general. Anastasia herself seemed to have decided that now was the time to preen a little, which amused her. Vanity usually did, even when she experienced it herself. Her attention went back to the Gryffindor as the girl continued to speak, though. "Hmm," she said idly. That was an interesting piece of trivia, and she wondered if it was being addressed to herself. Born leaders and such, even though she'd never considered herself one, other than as a professor. She nodded as it seemed now was the time for the true reason for the visit, letting musing about if she'd been being complimented fade to the back of her mind. "Of course you can, and it depends on how you're defining different," she replied. "Different isn't always wrong. You should never feel like that." She certainly had felt different, given certain things. Both in the past and currently. She was settling in now though, officially, and she wanted to help Kurumi. The girl really seemed like something was bothering her.
