That was probably true, she supposed. That handicaps did make people feel awkward at first. She'd felt like that just now when he'd first revealed his to her - but now, well, she didn't feel quite as awkward. Because the more she thought about it, the more she realized he really wasn't all that different from a few minutes ago before he'd told her. "At first it does," she agreed, "but it doesn't mean they should treat you differently forever."
She smiled. "'Course," she replied. "And will you be cheering us on when we go against your house at the next game?" He probably wasn't, house loyalty and all that, which she couldn't fault him for. But it was worth a shot asking, right? Her smile grew at his next response. "Absolutely. I wouldn't have asked if I wasn't, now would I?"
Anakin smiled slightly at her, nodding his head in agreement. He was glad he hadn't completely botched things up. He didn't know many people already, and he could definitely use the friends he had.
"And I'm glad you were able to talk to me."
Nodding his head slightly in agreement, Ani gave a slight shrug as well. He completely agreed of course. But just because he agreed didn't make it magically true.
"Maybe it's just because some just can't work through the awkward?" And obviously some could. Like Vashti. Nudging her slightly with his elbow he grinned, feeling a little less like a freak show.
"The super cool ones can though."
Snort. Cheer for her team at the match against Hufflepuff?
"I'll do a joint cheering." Because he'd look weird cheering against his own team. And he DID want hufflepuff to win the house cup. His joint cheering would probably just be 'Go hufflepuff! Go Vashti!' Because that wasn't weird yeah? Chuckling he nodded,
"That's true. S'pose that was a bit of a stupid question. Well, thanks. That'd be really fun."
