Lexi was nearly SKIPPING as she neared the hourglasses, only slowing down as the pain in her side seemed to flare up a bit with the motion. "Stupid staircase," she muttered to herself.

What was HE doing? Staring? Well, Lexi didn't mind a good stare. Sliding up beside the boy she looked at him for only a moment before joining him in looking at the hourglasses. "Whatchu doing down here... just looking?" she asked with a giggle. Seemed odd, but she GOT odd, so it was alright.
