Hogwarts RPG Name: Amur Neverwinter Fourth Year | ~ Rise and Rise Again, Until Lambs become Lions ~ Quote:

"I'd like to add, that's within reason," Issy chuckled as she turned around to face the kids again. "Yes, Covadium changes an everyday object, whatever you like...in our case rubbish," she said, gesturing to the bags by her desk. "into something else of use. Something that means we could reuse the rubbish. A version of recycling if you will."
Picking up one of the bags, she moved around the classroom placing two pieces of rubbish on each desk - a plastic bottle and a chocolate frog box. An empty one. Boo. "You all know the incantation, and in a moment I will show you the wand movement. But first I would like you to look at the items I have given you, and decide what you want it to become. Bearing in mind that it is easier to transfigure objects that are similar - so don't try and be too complicated on your first go."
Moving back to her desk, Issy picked her own bottle up and placed it back in a position they could all see. "Now watch closely... you need to do a swish to the left, then gently tap the item, while saying the spell...Co- vah- dium" Isabelle did just that, saying the spell and completing the wand movement. With a little poof her bottle became a fancy carved plastic glass, ready for her to put her firewhiskey into. Although not in class.
Beaming, she looked up at them. "First please recite the spell on it's own, then practice the wand movement without the spell, then by all means try everything together. Just be careful. And concentrate hard. I have more bottles and boxes for you to use for now as well, until we move onto the reversion spell, so just come get another to keep practising." Change an object into anything?
Sabel blinked at the two items that had been placed on his desk, listening with half an ear as he stared them down. Both seemed to be staring back at him, tempting him to find that recycling bin and take all the 'trash' and put the pieces within the containers.
It was with that thought that he drew out his wand, flicking it to the left in a constant repetition of the wand motion, even if it was a little absent. "Covadium...Covadium...Covadium...Covadium...Covad ium...Covadium...Covadium..."
It was on his seventh pass that his wand tapped the side of the bottle, his mind still on that big, blue recycling container. That and the incantation had the bottle bludge, wobble and grow on his desk. The transformation startled him, setting him to jump back a little in his seat and stare at the slowly changing bottle. A slight grin touched the corners of his lips as he realized what exactly was happening.
Shifting forward in his seat once again, he tapped his wand to the side of the bottle a few more times, repeating the incantation several times, watching as the bottle grew. The opening spread out, the ridges evened and the color became a deep blue with a white design.
When it was finished, he sat back with a grin, folding his arms across his chest and craning his head up a little to look at his work. It seemed fitting. Ironic, but fitting.
