From a very early age, Jade showed an interest in knowing about everything and had what some called an unhealthy thirst for the unknown. She would often venture off alone in Hyde Park for hours at a time and this is perhaps why she has always been quite independent. Being exposed to both muggles and wizards at a very young age, Jade developed a strong sense of self and the world around her. She is always questioning and pushing boundaries. Her tendency to be very out-spoken and her hunger for knowledge can be misinterpreted as conceitedness. She high marks in school earned her the title of Know-it-all, even though she was far from the top of her year. She is also a bit of a perfectionist and very stubborn. She was well known for her very quick wit and sharp tongue during her time at the American Ministry. Her temper is said to rival that of a dragon at times, but she is able to be quite level-headed at times as well. Her hot-headedness is thought to be connected to her stubborn nature. She is very driven and strong-willed, as evident in the fact she managed to finish her studies at Oxford and Harvard within two years of graduating from Hogwarts. Jade is also very family-oriented. Jade's looks are a bit deceiving when it comes to her personality. She is known to make terrible first impressions but once someone has gained her trust, she truly starts to be herself and a whole different side of her comes through. History:
Jade is the only child of David Ambrose Smith & Olivia Chloe Bennett. Her father, David to his friends overseas and Ambrose to those in Great Britain, worked as a liaison between both The British Ministry of Magic and The American Ministry alongside of her uncle, Benjamin Aiden Bennett. Her mother also briefly worked for the American Ministry while attending The American Academy of Wizardry, where she first met David. After a few years, Olivia met Ambrose once again through Benjamin and his liaison work between the two ministries. Ambrose was born in Boston to an American wizard and English witch. Olivia was the only daughter of Kieren Thomas Bennett & Keira Jasmine Rochester and came from a pureblood line that dated back to the 4th century. Upon marriage, the couple resided in the English ancestral home of the Ambrose family in the Westminster area of London.

Despite the fact, Jade came from a very long line of purebloods, she spent a lot of her youth with muggles. Growing up close to Hyde Park, she spent most of her time there amongst the muggles and even attended a muggle school until her admittance to Hogwarts. Upon entering Hogwarts, she was sorted into Ravenclaw. After her second year, Ambrose and family moved to Boston for two years. During that time, Jade attended The American Academy of Wizardry. After returning back to England, Jade continued her remaining years at Hogwarts, where she received outstanding marks in both her OWLs and NEWTs. Wanting to further continue her education she attended Oxford and studied at Harvard for two terms (summer and fall) through an exchange program. During her time in Boston, she met numerous people and managed to intern at the American Ministry in the International Cooperation Department while she was studying at Harvard. Upon returning to Oxford, she finished her course of study in record time before moving back to London.

After her return back to London, Jade acquired her first job with the Ministry of Magic. She was an Unspeakable in the Time Room. Working closely with all things time related, she spent most of her time at work deep in thought. Time-turners fascinated her and she studied and researched them extensively. After putting in much work with the Time Room, she was promoted to Division Head for the Death Chamber. During her time as Division Head, she worked closely with her fellow Unspeakables studying the stone archway. Seeing that it was time to broaden her horizons a bit more, she transferred to the Thought Chamber.

Jade for years resided in one of the ancestral homes of the Rochester family, her grandmother's family, near Hyde Park; which she was to share with her cousin, Jasmina Bennett, upon Jasmina's graduation from Hogwarts, per her grandparents' wishes. She moved into a larger home in Wimbledon Common with her husband, Jayden Monroe; several months before their wedding.

In March of 2080, Jade gave birth to a set of twins, Balthazar Leo & Zara Gwendolyn.
