Melanie flopped into one of the cozy armchairs, with a little reluctance. She came there with one purpose and one purpose only- to concentrate. It was much too difficult to keep her mind on her task when she was in the common room and the Captain figured, logically, that the library would be a good place to do some review. She wasn't the brightest crayon in the box, at least when it came to academics, but she knew she would only be insulting herself if she didn't bother to at least try to study before NEWT time came around.

With a soft sigh, she reached down and pulled her canvas school bag off the ground. Melanie unbuttoned it, and began to look over her book choices ...All textbooks, but two, one on quidditch and one about a knight. Though she would have preferred either of them over her textbooks, Melanie made herself take out her Astronomy book, before dropping her school bag to the ground once more.

Almost idly, she began to flip through the textbook, looking over the information with a little interest in her eyes... better than none at all. At least there were pictures... Puuuuurty stars. Hehe.
