Sirius watched as Gin tried to comfort Alex over the whole James and Lily being close. He could understand the down feelings though being best mates with James he was certainly rooting more for his friend. As the girl sat back down between them he didn't think much about it at first until she decided to do what Alex had done earlier lay on top of the group on the couch.

"For your information I am." Gin smiled a very cheeky, and very uniquely Ginerva smile. A smile seen on another girl named Ginerva in later generations as well. "Im happy for him" She mouthed so that Sirius could see what she was saying, She did feel sorry for Alex but Gin was inbetween a rock and hard place. She was friends with both parties in question.
"So what do you think they are doing out there?" Gin asked smirking as she asked this - knowing full well Lily would probably snogg him.

"Uh well its almost Dinner James," Lily laughed and she could make food - after all there was the small Head of House kitchenette that they could simply never leave the common room if they didn't want to. She smiled. "Lets go tell them, you know its better for people to know because of our old...er, ways." Lily blushed realizing how mean she had been to him in the past. Leaning forward she kissed him on the cheek.
