Alex just pushed off everything that everyone had said. Yeah, it was kind of a jerky move but he couldn't help but watch Lily and Potter. He really couldn't pay attention to anything else. And then Potter kissed Lily. It took everything in Alex's power not to get up and punch the guy.
And then they headed out into the hallway and Alex tried to calm himself down. It would do no good if he was angry. It would probably just make matters worse. He leaned his arm on the arm of the couch and just stared into the fire. Waiting for something good to happen.
